Conair announces AME Scholarships

Conair, in partnership with the BC Aviation Council (BCAC), is pleased to announce the launch of seven new Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) scholarships aimed at supporting students pursuing careers in aviation maintenance in British Columbia. The scholarships are intended to help strengthen the future aviation and aerial firefighting workforce by supporting students entering Transport Canada-approved AME programs throughout the province.

Starting in 2026, Conair will fund:

Four (4) Conair AME Entrance Scholarships valued at $1,875 each – intended for recent or future high school graduates who have been accepted, or are pending acceptance, into a Transport Canada-approved AME training program in British Columbia

Three (3) Conair AME Continuing Studies Scholarships valued at $3,000 each – intended for students who are already actively enrolled in and committed to completing their AME training.
