Conair designs and develops the best Next Generation airtankers in the world today.

Throughout the company’s long history in aerial firefighting, Conair has introduced 15 new aircraft types and 175 individual aircraft to the global aerial firefighting effort.

The RJ85, Dash 8-400MRE, and Dash 8-400AT land-based airtankers have been designed and engineered in house at Conair at the company’s Abbotsford facilities. Using over 50 years of wildfire domain experience, Conair has incorporated the latest Advanced Retardant Delivery Systems technology, with 100% OEM support throughout the design and certification process, to produce what is best described as a purposed engineered airtanker.

OEM support does not end with certification. The RJ85, Dash 8-400MRE and Dash 8-400AT airtankers have a projected service life in excess of 25 years. The team of engineers at Conair work closely with the OEM throughout the entire service life of these aircraft.

Conair’s goal is a 100% serviceability rate.

Conair offers these aircraft to the wildfire community on either multiyear service contracts that can be custom tailored to the agencies specific needs, or for sale to government fire control agencies that prefer an ownership model.

Let the experienced team at Conair help you evolve your aerial firefighting program with the introduction of these two, exciting next generation firefighting assets.
